                Beall Funeral Home is adding to their experienced and professional office staff. Beall Funeral Home is seeking a high energy, self-motivated team player who can manage and coordinate many tasks in a fast-paced environment, is efficient, compassionate, and detail-oriented. Weekends may be required for this position. Professional office appearance is a must.  Duties include: Greeting families, scheduling appointments, typing with accuracy, answering phones, data entry, scanning, filing, maintaining paper and electronic files, proficiency with general office equipment, effective and professional communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal skills and the ability to resolve and respond to issues in a professional manner, strong attention to detail and follow-through. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED. Two years of experience preferred.     Job Type: Full-time; Nights and Weekends required at times

    Qualifications: 

    • Data Entry: 2 years (Preferred)
    • Customer service: 2 years (Required)
    • 1+ years of administrative support experience
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Ability to work well in a team based environment
    • Ability to learn new software and conduct new tasks
    • Professional communication and organizational skills

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

    Administrative Duties:

    • Dealing directly with the public and grieving families of the deceased
    • Answering phones and greeting clients
    • Maintaining business schedule/calendars and email
    • Payment/billing processing and recordkeeping
    • Opening and closing cases and files
    • Preparing and printing service materials
    • Completing legal documentation
    • Proofreading/editing
    • Other administrative duties as assigned by management

    Requirements:

    • 18 years of age and permitted to legally work in the United States
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Consent to complete background check
